Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place sliced kielbasa sausage into casserole dish with pierogi. In a medium bowl add cream cheese, shredded cheese, black pepper, chicken broth, and sour cream. Mix well. Pour over sausage and pierogi. Mix well. Cover casserole dish with tin foil. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Remove tin foil.


Crockpot Pierogi and Kielbasa Casserole

Place a pot of water on to boil at the start. Boil the frozen pierogies according to box directions, while frying kielbasa, peppers and onions. Put a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the sliced kielbasa. Scoop out the browned sausage into a bowl and set aside. Leave the fat and oil in the skillet.

Drain the sauerkraut, reserving the liquid. Pre-heat a large 12-inch oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and brown the Kielbasa sausage slices on both sides. Remove the browned sausage from the pan and set aside. Add the onion to the skillet and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

About 30 minutes before the cook time is up, place the cream cheese, ½ cup of chicken broth, and sour cream in a saucepan.


Pierogies and Kielbasa Can't Stay Out of the Kitchen

Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onions and saute until tender. Remove onions from pan and set aside. Add pierogis and Kielbasa. Saute 4 to 6 minutes per side, turning occasionally. When pierogis are golden brown stir in the bell peppers. Saute for 3 more minutes, until the bell peppers are hot.
